Sign in

Go to Log in, enter your email address and password, complete the check confirming you are a person, and press Log in.

You sign in with your email address, not your username. Your username is what other people see, and it does not work here.

How long you stay signed in

Up to 90 days without needing to sign in again. Every time you come back, that window starts over, so if you use Breakerway regularly you should rarely have to do this.

Signing out ends it immediately on that device. Other devices you are signed in on are not affected.

If your details are not accepted

You will see Those details do not match an account.

This message is the same whether the email address has no account or the password is wrong. That is deliberate. If the wording changed depending on which part was wrong, anyone could use the form to work out which email addresses have Breakerway accounts.

So when you see it, check both:

• Is the email address the one you signed up with, spelled correctly?
• Is the password right? Try resetting it if you are not sure.

If you have not confirmed your email address yet

Your details are correct, but the account is not finished. Breakerway sends a new six digit code and takes you to the confirmation screen.

Enter the code and you are signed in. See Confirm your email address.

If you are asked to wait

After several failed attempts in a row, Breakerway stops accepting more for a short time. This limits how fast someone can guess at an account.

Wait a minute and try again. If you cannot remember your password, resetting it is quicker than guessing.

Signing out

Use Sign out from the account menu. You return to the marketplace as a visitor, and anything that needs an account will ask you to sign in again.
